Royal Purple Ladies was started October 2012 as an initiative to celebrate women in all facets of the automotive industry as well as educate ladies who might not be "gearheads" about basic car maintenance and best practices.
Our first major sponsored event will be the All-Female Shootout at the NMRA event at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk on Sunday, June 16, 2013. We're excited to team up with Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords on their 25th anniversary for this inaugural event.
What else is on the horizon for Royal Purple Ladies? We would like to take a female owned, built, wrenched, raced or just driven to the 2013 SEMA Show as a Feature Vehicle. A Feature Vehicle will not be in our RP booth as we already have a great car we'll be unveiling, but will be placed in the Convention Center or around the show grounds. Show dates are Nov. 5 - 8, 2013.
What will be included: Registration as a Feature Vehicle on behalf of Royal Purple and RPL and fees, Royal Purple wearables, brag board and a VIP dinner. Participate in the SEMA Show cruise in. Inclusion in a press release announcing the vehicle going on behalf of RPL distributed by our PR agency to all relevant media.
What will not be included but we can help you with pricing: vehicle transportation (covered transport by Pilot), hotel accommodations
On Your Own: Travel expenses to Las Vegas, Transportation from the airport if applicable and getting around Vegas while you are there, meals with the exception of the winner's VIP dinner, spending money. You are welcome to get sponsors for your trip. SEMA allows the placement of decals on the vehicle if they are already SEMA Show exhibitors. You can also acknowledge any sponsors on your brag board.
This opportunity is separate from the photo contest we'll run later this summer to send a car and truck to the SEMA Show as Feature Vehicles.
